Bought a pair on yellow Kirkpatricks from Blackpool at the beginning of the year, paired them together once they had been treated and got into condition from the ordeal of blackpool, they went together with no problem, made a nest and stuff only no eggs? They lived in a shed with one other pair of which the cock to the other pair thought he owned the hut, so I moved the yellow pair to my stockloft where again, a nest has been made the hen will sit in the bowl but just no eggs... Currently confused as to what to do, and input guys??

Got an 2011 ring on mate but can't really answer it 100%

Hi

With a 2011 ring she could be barren and you were sold

a pup, but like peter pandy said slip her a egg, after

18 days slip her a young bird , does not need to be just hatched

anything up to 10 days old will do, and let nature do the rest

Cheers

Agree with Peter Pandys coment. Also put some Barley into the mix with a little Wheat Germ Oil, that gets them going. Plenty Grit & Minerals as well and it shouldnt be too long til she lays. If u manage to get her to take to a dummy egg like Peter Pandy said slip her another one 2 days later. You can then use this pair as feeders and that will get her into breeding condition and motovation. If she goes through all the stages until the ybs are big she should then lay her first real eggs. Good luck m8.
