WulDon Posted January 29, 2015 Author Report Posted January 29, 2015 great training flight once again today, 35 minutes for the leaders at 60km, which is over 60mph! and looks like a full house for the Scottish Team once again
WulDon Posted January 29, 2015 Author Report Posted January 29, 2015 60 km now so the BOP will be having a wee go at them more, good luck to all that are lucky enough to escape these predators and get to the final especially the Scots BOP as you know can hit them at any distance mate, returns have been exceptional to date... one more island training then its sea training where the biggest risk comes in as we have all experienced, ye and I'm sure they will be tickled by the BOP along the way... part n parcel of doo racing now in any part of the world!

No question about the BOP problem being everywhere Wullie but I don't think we should sit back and accept it.This OLR is fantastically run and the birds are kept in great condition for the tasks they face. Its just a pity they couldn't address the BOP attacks they are getting as this would make it one of the best OLR in the world. The birds are only at 36 miles and 400 ( 18% )are missing already, not great returns omho, its a real shame and as soon as this issue is dealt with, or attacks reduced somewhat, you would see hundreds more enter, including myself. However, good luck for the rest. .

Michael J Burden Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 I have just booked Tenerife. Great the date is the 28th March a day after the last race sadly but who knows they may get held over and I can go and see for myself. May be wrong about the last race date but I know I miss it MJB
