Guest redwhiteblue Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 It's 6 o'clock on the 1st of July it appears there is no result on snfc website yet people already know the result, i am lead to believe that the first 3 section winners have not been verified yet. We are now onto our third race and it is still the first race, Newbury, on your website, i think it is about time that this was updated!!
Guest redwhiteblue Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Not true North section all verified [/quote Region D has not been verified yet, well done to the north section fanciers and also your committee members for verifying the birds.

andy Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Unfortunately the SNFC decided to get rid of a very competent PRO for a complete dingal, Does SNFC stand for Scott's National Flying Club?
Guest IB Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 I thought the website results were up pretty quickly, and the Newbury race report in the BHW was a pleasant surprise, given the speculation that these wouldn't be getting done, so the birds and their owners did get the publicity they deserved, and at the end of the day, publicing these achievements is all that matters. Well done all concerned.
knoxjn Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 well done again andy miller you are one of the most consistent flyers in the country from all distances well done mate
Guest Vic Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Surely, verification within a couple of hours, should be the first priority in any club, large or small. Especially with all the high tech gear around.
WulDon Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 bloody hell, birds were only timed in on sunday and this is only tuesday... if you think you can do a better job!!! its comments like these that stop fanciers taking on jobs in any organisation, so easy to sit in your arm chair and blow gas!!!!!

I Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 just heard some very worrying news regarding the newbury race and it would appear the flying club despite carrying all the feds with them have lost money on this race, how can this be. alledgedly it was thousands and not hunderds but how if the birdage was so big, anyone able to explain how this could possibly occur
Guest Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 i just heard the moons made of green cheese lol is it true? lol
I Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 clockman it would all depend on who told you and how qualified they were to make that statement. dont know much about the composition of the moon other that it is bright unlike yourself,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ;D. now the statement on the losses incurred at the race in question came from a member of the committee. now i know there were some problems with the logistics of this race with a truck running out of fuel etc but how can any organisation take that many birds to an inland race and loose money, surely has to be a mistake made somewhere or have costs rocketed out of control.
