Guest redwhiteblue Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 So your saying he was able to cheat clocks but not the ets? YES 100%
Guest 67ghirl Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 You seem to be under the impression, everybody who uses ets are constantly away from their lofts, how wrong are you????? As a 'Pigeon Widow' I can definitely Verify this statement! :-/
Roland Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Look again then Spiner... Think you will find I am right. But can't be bothered to read up on it again lol... never wore glasses then lol ;D
ChrisMaidment08 Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 the old saying is were there is a will there is a way ;)
Guest spin cycle Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 if you're going to cheat you'll find a way whatever. i've got issues with ets...but cheating isn't one of them. surely they'd have shown up in europe to a greater extent before now.
WulDon Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 any body who even considers cheating is a sad low life B**TARD!!! if some body feels they have to go down this road it doesnt matter what system is in place at the time i suppose with todays technology and so called whizz kids it could be achieved. however, for these suggestions to be put on this forum is an absolute out cry and this post should be wiped... only planting ideas in some 'sado's' head. at club level if union rules are abided by then cheating cannot occur, a pigeon can only be marked if registered with the system initially... two rings cannot be assigned to one pigeon... rings not assigned cannot be used to filter a mock pigeon thro the ringer... there are obviously some fanciers on here who havent used an ETS system as it appears they know 'F' all about the system and how it works. whether liked or not ETS is here to stay so get used to it or get left behind...
maverick Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 When E.T.S. WAS COMING OUT IN SCOTLAND,A so called computer expert said he could cheat the system UNIKON offered to put him up in a hotel room and give him what he needed to cheat the system but he declined the offer SAYS IT ALL
Guest amar Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 does any1 know if the ets rings have a eprom chip in side it
REDCHEQHEN Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 What I resent in the NEHU is that on probably one of the most major issues to effect the sport in years we didn't have a loft by loft vote. If that had happened and it had been introduced fair enough! So much for democracy the big money men who sell the systems and the flock flyers having their way again! Every loft did get a vote - and the clubs NEHU representatives were mandated to vote by their members There were about 50 clubs out of over 200 in attendance - and only 46 of them voted. The number of members of each club was counted - for and against - and added up - so in effect you got a vote - whether your NEHU rep was there is another story - certainly the majority of clubs were not represented I was there (evil)

ch pied Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 if you're going to cheat you'll find a way whatever. i've got issues with ets...but cheating isn't one of them. surely they'd have shown up in europe to a greater extent before now.they have shown up in europe , in national race's all bird's are doubled rubberd , bird's with an ets ring have a rubber put on them , which has to be timed into a conventional clock within a givin time after crossing the pad , if the fancier fail's to see the pigeon enter the loft , then find's it he is only given the time recorded by the conventional clock , it has been said this practice was adopted in case there was a power failure or such like with the ets system , when in fact it is a safe guard againest fraud . i have ets myself
THE FIFER Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Not sure what the problem was over there ch pied but we race the internationals and it is a rule all birds have to be rubbered whether you use ets or not someone lost the international for not doing it They are miles ahead of us on the way things are run and done perhaps they know something we dont in the SNFC I believe must have a rubber on, I think you must produce it if in the winning.
Guest Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 in the SNFC I believe must have a rubber on, I think you must produce it if in the winning. dont think so archie
Guest slugmonkey Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Ive missed birds when sitting watching for them to come home it never fails you go for a drink or snack or bathroom and here they come
sapper756 Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 [/color] dont think so archie I think you,ll find that the bird that wins the SNFC race, if timed by ETS, the rubber has to be produced during verification. As does evidence of seal numbers on all pads used
me Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 You seem to be under the impression, everybody who uses ets are constantly away from their lofts, how wrong are you????? Don't know how often I will have to say this don't put words in my mouth what you have posted above is fabrication. I am under no "impressions" or illusions for that matter i have kept the doos for longer than you have been alive and timed mare doos from across the water than you could ever dream of. Why don't you try reading and comprehending for a change you might learn something.

me Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 guess its just a safe guide i personally havent got a problem with it havent got ets even if i did i wouldnt miss one of my birds coming from one of the distance races and part of the enjoyment of racing is timing the birds in You are never wrong Rose but you are right again!
me Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 (puke) Strike my last reply to you. Basic, only very basic mind, intelligence is needed to be able to learn. Sadly a "Darwin Award" is more likely for people like you.

Guest 67ghirl Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 All Birds flying with the SNFC have 2 'rubbers' it's just in the case of ETS 1 is the ETS ring! The reason is the same for all systems - in case of failure of your nominated timer.
