Delboy Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 only half the truth comes out when we get this every year a club has the right to let in who they want and it always comes out its because such and such is a great fancier as stuart says feel sorry for the person concerned but there were other clubs in the area (SHU) why did they not let him in? lets not just go down the one side of the road there is always two sides to a story and the club is quite rightly saying nothing on here the agm is where it should be discussed Frank, you are right, there are two sides to every story and I am still wondering at what I am getting persecuted for ?? Can you tell me ? I am member of SHU club ( Bonnybridge, which is 14 miles east of me ) but I am not in the local SHU clubs radius., that's why I applied to Chryston, Glasgow fed.(RPRA ). Dont anyone ever condone knocking back new members, believe me, you wouldnt like to be treated the way I and others have been in recent years. A whispering campaign has stopped us from being able to join local clubs. A bloody disgrace what the pigeon sport is coming to. Success is grudged and people blame other things for their own inadequacies. > And yes Stuart, there was a local SHU club that did the dirty on the full Kirkintilloch club, funnily enough, the very same club name.

demolition man Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 nobody should be refused membership but until the unions impose a no refusal rule with the exemption of bad debt to the club or previous history with the club then this will continue to happen. I'm happy to fly against anyone, but why have someone in that would ruin a good club.
bruno1 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Took this thread down to cleanout obvious misunderstandings on what took place with last nights thread. That thread was locked by Admin and taken down because the topic and the tone have no place on this forum. Admin dealt directly with the thread's author.
pjc Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I'm happy to fly against anyone, but why have someone in that would ruin a good club. if somebody is allowed in and causes trouble there are rules to deal with them!
VMS Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 if somebody is allowed in and causes trouble there are rules to deal with them! Prevention is better than cure.
me Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 the RPRA should throw this club out of their union or expel them until resolved but they wont as they lack the guts that it would require and in turn this fancier will need to take legal proceedings and in turn at a great expense. Thought closing down clubs was Delboys speciality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Delboy Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Thought closing down clubs was Delboys speciality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What club have I closed down ??????? Are you some sort of trouble maker > >

gulkie Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 its a discrace soon they will want to put anyone that flyes well out of clubs.i would say if someone is refused entry into a club the objectors should be made give a valid reason for their actions, and to good a flyer is not one.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Thought closing down clubs was Delboys speciality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Four hours have passed were you have been on-line and you still haven't answered Delboys question as to which clubs he has closed down. Once again another member of this forum who hides behind a user name to abuse fanciers.
David048 Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Some clubs are funny and there may be personal issues with other members

sammy Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 this is rich gareth given that a L/F member club refused them entry last year and this so will the L/F and shu ban that club?????? thats twice yi have posted that frank and still no reply from gareth ??) ??)
Guest frank dooman Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 thats twice yi have posted that frank and still no reply from gareth ??) ??) maybe he will only reply to posts that suit, the truth will come out
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 this is rich gareth given that a L/F member club refused them entry last year and this so will the L/F and shu ban that club?????? Derek was outside the boundary in that instance which is not the case with his application to Chryston within the Glasgow fed a few days ago.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 maybe he will only reply to posts that suit, the truth will come out sorry i have not been quick enough with a reply for you frank, fed presentation night friday followed by a hangover, feeling good today though ;) oh and please do let the truth come out.
Guest frank dooman Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Derek was outside the boundary in that instance which is not the case with his application to Chryston within the Glasgow fed a few days ago. you know that was not the reason gareth it might have been the excuse used but wasnt the case so what did the L/F and shu do to resolve the situation NOTHING thats why your statement about the rpra was rich!!
dwh Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 its a discrace soon they will want to put anyone that flyes well out of clubs.i would say if someone is refused entry into a club the objectors should be made give a valid reason for their actions, and to good a flyer is not one. this idea of not letting a fancier in because he is to good is stupid how do you know he's too good our club has let every good flyer in every time they applied because they breaking records where they are does'nt mean they'll do the same in a new club we not the best flyers in our club far from it but bring it on let them all try its not as easy as people think to establish yourself in a new club if your frightened of competition keep tumblers in your backyard JMO
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 you know that was not the reason gareth it might have been the excuse used but wasnt the case so what did the L/F and shu do to resolve the situation NOTHING thats why your statement about the rpra was rich!! My statement about the RPRA was spot on Frank as 3 rpra clubs within the Glasgow fed also refused entry to a father and son patnership and a nicer 2 people you would not want to meet, absolutely disgraceful. Time for the RPRA and the SHU to take action on these clubs who discriminate against fellow pigeon fanciers What the L/F chryston club done with the Kirkintilloch club was also a disgrace and this makes them no better than the than these Glasgow fed clubs but the boundary could be seen to be a legal excuse for them to use.
ALF Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Is there not a guy who flies in our fed in the chryston club that isnae in our fed boundary??? cannae remember his name but am sure someone told me about it..
