Kyleakin Lofts Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Toughie from Thurso today. Around 4 from 15 sent by Club and 15 from 99 sent in Fed.Birds returning from the south, so seems to indicate the NRCC caught us and our pigeons followed down to England.

It'll be interesting to see if any are reported and the area just to give an idea how far they travelled down Andy

Kyleakin Lofts Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Obviously dragged over onto the east Andy and maybe further down They tend to fly south from Thurso then head east across the firth or follow the land to around Fraserburgh before heading south again. The weather front probably kept them in the east and possibly put them down. They may have tried to go round it and at times go as far south as Berwick, but if the NRCC did catch them up, they may have followed them.
paddymac Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Would'nt have had a choice Andy with the bigger birdage with NRCC they would have just got pulled along. Hopefully you'll have a few work back
