geordie1234 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Should the SNFC delay race marking. The easy answer would be yes but I'd imagine it would be a logistical nightmare
Delboy Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 the best day is FRIDAY, its about time we played the f kin game , national or not. Flexibility is the key, everyone walking thru the doors to get their birds marked would be told the nat is maybe going for a Friday lib, simple as that!!The birds could get a 9am lib on Friday no problem. Logistics don't come into it in inland races imo, it can be done quite easily with a slightly later lib obviously.
Delboy Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 ps.Before anyone jumps in about them missing the doos because of work etc, if its a Monday race ( which is likely) you have got the same scenario.

Delboy Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Logistics don't come into it m8, the mighty UNC do it regularly, the fact of the matter up here in Scotland is they are spoon fed.

Delboy Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Spot on Derek.they should go even if it is the day before the lib date. Ye see Willie, its all about sending your doos with confidence and if the SNFC had more flexibility then that would generate more confidence. How much money/birdage will the SNFC lose this weekend because of the forecast? Some members wont send their yearlings now because of the prospects of 3-4 days in the basket but on the other hand, if they could lib on Friday, no birdage/money would be lost.

peter pandy Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Derek, Are you not on the SNFC Committee ? If so I am sure you can contact Doc Lynch and put it to him.
Delboy Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Derek, Are you not on the SNFC Committee ? If so I am sure you can contact Doc Lynch and put it to him. Dr Lynch asked me to leave the committee Peter as they had 16 committee instead of 15 and as I am an individual member I wasn't representing enough members . Remember, I was west section convenor 3 times before as an individual member!!!To be fair some of the committee backed me but I felt I was being victimised and eventually decided to walk. I will never in my life donate a yb or help the SNFC again in anyway. I think someones been in Mr Lynchs ear about me having too much of an an opinion, hehe. ( guess who )I wonder why, eh ??? :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:
