Nobivac Pmv Vaccine

Seems this is the only vaccine on the market and would like to ask a couple of questions before buying.

 

My main question is do you have to vaccinate them twice? I seem to recall that is the case but my memory isn't the best these days, old age kicking in me thinks.

If you do have to vaccinate them twice can this vaccine once opened be kept in the fridge.

 

It would be appreciated if anyone has got the data sheet that come with the vaccine could answer these questions.

There's a letter of apology in the pack regards no surgical spirits,now band for transit by Royal Mail.

Other info must be stored in fridge,DO NOT FREEZE.

Vaccine should be removed from fridge and given enough time to warm to blood temp.

No more than 25 birds should be vaccinated with one needle.

Other than that it's just instructions on the correct procedure and safety.No mention of the questions you have asked Tony.

Four needles and two syringes enclosed with 80 dose.

Hi Tony

Vaccine is only active from between 10-14 months

On the advice of Belgica I will be doing as recommended

First jag when they are between 30-35 days

Next one 4 weeks prior to entering race hamper

As far as I am concerned a very small price to pay

Nowhere does the manufacturer say that birds have to be injected twice,why people go against this I do not know,all they say about storing the stuff is Use immediately after opening the container

Tony, just in case old age has prevented you from realising, the front wheel is missing from your bike, that's why you don't seem to be going anywhere. :D

Belgica produce their own vaccine, I'm sure.

Just wondered why someone would follow the advice of Belgica if they dont Manufacture Nobilis, surely you follow the makers advice not another manufacturers.

tony i did not think you could get nobivac are you sure its not nobilis and all vacine tell you use when opened but a know people put it in the fridge and re use i would not take the chance with my yb when the makers say use when opened ive been told by the makers it only gives full protection if used within 4 hours of being punctured m8 all paramixo vacines are one dose but some guys jag them twice thinking it gives better protection i dont know if its true or not

For some reason I thought you had to jab them with this twice to obtain full protection, maybe this being available in 80 & 200 dose vials led me to believe that.

Tony if you haven't got your vaccine google Vio-vet nobovac 80 dose under £20 including

Post, comes warped in a ice pack .and I dont agree with double jagging pigeon men have

taken this on them selfs to carry this out .you can get surgical

Seems its the same vaccine Watty as it is advertised as Nobivac (Nobilis) on the websites. May be the case that Nobivac bought the rights to Nobilis and changed the name and bottle !!!!
