Stray Centre

theres seems to be an incredible amount of strays being posted on site lately .do we still need a "Stray Centre" ? whats your thoughts ?

Never had a stray center for old birds Andy and stray centers are only a breeding ground for every sickness known to pigeons all mixed together . A lot of young birds go down when there ill mix all the sickos in one basket drinking from the same drinker you wouldnt want somthing out of them basketts

I would say Yes as the losses seems to be more now than at any other time,

with the price to get birds returned i say its a must for young and old birds if you dont like what you get back you can move it on so to speak instead of having to pay 40 0r 50 pounds to do the same thing

A lot of good pigeons have came from the stray centre, so I would say the same as Scottish Independent, YES. :emoticon-0167-beer: :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Agree 100% with what you are saying Rab.

 

In most cases of strays getting reported on here you can see that there is a decent network of lads who are willing to help each other out and it really good to see. Long may it continue.
