Just got some clean second hand pigeon boxs off someone made from 3/4 ply. Dont no what to do leave them as wood or paint them with gloss

Give 'em a good scrubbing and scraping out, allow to dry. When dry, give 'em a soaking in Virkon or similar. When dry give another soaking with Virkon. Allow to air dry..... Bobs' your uncle !!

Haven't painted boxes in maybe 30 years, too much maintenance.
