Class One Loft Race

not what you where thinking. after talking to a primary 5 class of children at wallyford primary school.we have 2 birds racing for school prize in the summerset one loft race for them.i have set up a class one loft race with my own birds.each of the 31 kids have now have a ring number and bird in it.birds will race 7 race weather permitting.with maidston being the final .their will be small prizes each week for the first 4 or 5 children to win and a small trophy for winner in final. the children will learn a wee bit about racing along the way .

By FAR the best idea i have come across to promote pigeon racing. I done a wee talk and liberation at my local primary school a few years back but this approach is terrific and has a greater chance of producing a fancier of the future, VERY WELL DONE GARY.

thanks i can see me having to do the same next 2 year for the kids p6 and p7 . if one or two other fanciers do the same in other schools .i am sure their would be 1 or 2 kids become fanciers themselfs in later life.
