anyone had problems with infertile eggs, and reason why, or chilled eggs. or good hatchings

Problems with one or two who would not claim a nest,two pair hatched on the loft floor,race birds hatching well,stock one or two late in laying but sorted now,fingers crossed all continues to go well,don't want a lot of youngens,can have as much fun with a small team rather than a mob.

The 2 year olds ok ,the yearlings a puckin nightmare they just wont pair so i can see a gie small team here.

I have left them to get on with it themselves as i have health problems and cant do as much as i would like but as you say it should sort its sel out.

I,m the same phil hardly see my doos just now we the short days and nae hame till its dark but they will pair when there ready

Same here with stock birds Kev just put most of the youngsters on the floor today, so will move them to their own loft at the weekend

 

Only paired the race team last Sunday , all took no problem even a couple of late bred hens. Happy days

race birds a few missing the odd egg but as they only rear 1 egg each plenty covered

the stock birds 2 pairs missed and the old cock missed again but hopefully he will fill in the summer
