Spoke to JIm and his wife in the winter gardens on Sat. a shock to hear he had passed away, always found him to be a pleasant and friendly man and will be a big loss to the sport. R.I. P. JIm.

Hi

I know part of Jim Sommerville died when there young

son John was killed in a motor accident

No parent should have to lay there children to rest

This poem says a lot about life and death

Hope you approve Margaret

Its Called

The Final Flight

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me.

I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the end of the day.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah, yes, these things too I will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My Life's been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved one' touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

It was a complete shock to hear of Jim's passing. I had known him for many years but got to know him and Margaret a lot better this past couple years when loaning him some hens to breed from and he would breed me 2 or 3 pairs back from them. A true Gentleman in every respect.

I was speaking to him in the Winter Gardens on Saturday where he was looking to pick out something for his stock loft and now this sad news coming so quickly is such a shock to me.

May he rest in peace and my sincere condolences to Margaret and his extended family at this very sad time.
