frank-123 Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 Reading earlier guy was suspended after he was loaned pennine heights but would not return the bird. He kept it for a few years I believe. So Mr Shackleton called in his lawyers, The bird was returned safely and the RPRA handed out a hefty ban. Too tough or justice done???

just ask me Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 i know very little about what went on got send a message on fb about it looks like the owner had his lofts on allotments was worried about the bird been taken so gave it to another man to mind it and had one hell of battle getting it back if its true he got what he deserved
Novice Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 I think it cost Mr. Shackelton £6000 in legal fees to have his bird returned.
buster151 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 if its all true then he should of had a longer ban imo and have to repay legal fees

Delboy Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 I don't think the 15 year ban will stick. If it goes to the RPRA appeal he should win his case. They will see it as a civil matter and use that as a get out clause imo. ps. I hope they don't mind ye.
