Great to see the days when pigeon MEN were willing to race against everyone in Scotland.

I have a SNFC diploma my grandad (Dave Liddle) won 25th East Section 73rd Open from this race. He timed his good Mealy hen at 18.17 on the second day for a velocity of 569 and winning £521 (what would that be worth today!. She was well pooled because she was 4th Section 17th Open the previous year. It must have been a hard race as well the velocity was 762.
