Got a phone call tonight cursing me into hell and out of it again !! Why can't I make these myself he asked (with a bit of AngloSaxon mixed in)

After a few ideas being transferred across the Irish Sea, I headed straight to the workshop to try the ideas we had come up with, realising with the new saw I bought on Friday it was possible (knackered the other one)

So Alex this is what I came up with !!

Started with 8" of 3x1.5 PAR. Set the end stop as required, adjusted the depth stop and adjusted blade to 30 degrees. Made a cut each side.

Cut and fit 2 pieces of 4mm ply. These were a tight fit into the groove cut by the saw.

Flushfit brackets.....just the job, as I want the perches removable.

Attach 1 bracket to perch, the other where perch is to be located.

And hey presto......the finished article !!
