If you know someone who works for the council in pest control they may be able to lend you a suitable live catch trap. This would be just a bit bigger than we would use to catch feral cats. However ensuring there is no food available for them would be a step in the right direction.
Guest chad3646 Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 i think you can forget the no food available part, thats all you see now is people feeding the foxes . i would suggest that you see someone who goes out for foxes with there dogs, get them to run there dogs in and out the dens the smell from the dogs will move them on j m o
lightning fast Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Rat Bait blocks, and plenty off them, That will get rid off them no problems
Guest homestead Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Rat Bait blocks, and plenty off them, That will get rid off them no problemsnow now we are responsible caring people us pigeon men but weve got the idea
greenlands Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 Just been on the news about water voles disappearing, blame everything bar what at least one of the problems is,often watched foxes along the small streams in the area, they love voles. But of course foxes aren't the problem. They are a bit like the RSPB,can't see the wood for the trees.Don't know if ferret s**t works but I would give it a try, spread some round the fox holes.Worth a go.
geordie1234 Posted September 6, 2013 Author Report Posted September 6, 2013 There is a steam running along the back of my brothers house although here in Scotland it's called a burn lol

I done it with Max, after 2 visits the fox moved den across the road, cubs all shifted too. They might wander through scavenging but they won't take up residence again.

Guest Owen Posted September 6, 2013 Report Posted September 6, 2013 I certainly would not want to move them on. I think they are dirty devils and will kill anything they can. Most foxes have mange and can pass it on to dogs. If it were me I would put a shot into them and have done with it.
