Guest strapper Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 (hi all im a new starter this year and ere a pic of my loft and inside with a few birds ive just got hope u all like im now on with just putting heaters in ) hi welcome...to be honest i wouldnt bother with the heaters...they are not neccessary in the loft. the birds will survive without a problem. adding heaters could bring you problems...entirely up to you but id stay from them .

marmite Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 hi welcome m8 i agree with pig man forget heaters and put more vents in front of loft m8 about a foot up from floor never get to much air in loft m8

Have to agree theres no ventilation in the loft, and defiantly need some ventilation system added to the loft, The birds do not need heating, it isnt neccessary, however using it on a thermostat to create a constant temopreture, only in the racing season has its benefits, especially as the racing season seems to start earlier and earlier every year,
mark croker Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 welcome to the site, nice big setup for a new starter, good luck for when you race, if you do :-/
Peckedhen Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Welcome. You look to be off to a good start. The only reason I would want a heater in my loft, would be to just warm it enough to stop the water freezing in the cold snaps.
micko and jack Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 hi Phil Céad mile fáilte romhat (Irish) 100,000 Welcomes
