casper Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Found this alloy ring in an old show field while metal detecting ,not sure what it is, as Ive never come across one before but do think it could be an ID tag for some sort of livestock or poultry The ring has the following letters and numbers: FFMC 34 A 2A 274. Ive taken a pic with it next to a standard pigeon ring for comparison. Ive posted this on various metal detecting forums but know one has a clue what it is due to its large size so thought I would post it on here as its probs bird related . Thank you Brian
geordie1234 Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Maybe a ring for some sort of Bird of Prey??
