Where is the cheapest place around Lanarkshire to get a decent size car battery? The 1 i run my ETS off just now is 6-7 yrs old and isnae holding a good charge anymore (it will be fine for the shorter races but wouldnae like to trust it for an overnight shot) Or does anybody have a half decent wan laying about?

HELLO , better getting a leasure battery ,the ones they use on the caravans mate there the best set you back about £85 -£100 and will last for ages and the wan ye,ve got use as a spare, do ye no kin anyone in the motor trade ,or member ow that big place in glasgow ???

COSTCO That one i,ve got for the electric fencing was £105 .but got a discount tae £85 but helluva good ,hope ye get fixed up , SOME O THEY COUNTRY STORES MIGHT STOCK THEM

alf go to the the birnaham scrap yard they will give you a good one they put a charge tester on them get it for £25 the scrap yard at the back road from you get one from a diesel car last for years think they are 0.95 size

I put a new one in the bm which is a diesel got the one i took out still here its yours for the taking .

Buy a boost pack for a car they r better they hold more amps. Plus they are portable for charging. A got mine for £40 off the net

when you get a battery invest in a solar charger from flea bay £10--£25 when you are not using the ets you can "help " the battery it wont charge it from flat , but it will put life into it.

 

you can leave the solar charger on the battery even when you have ets on.

Cheapest place for car battery is euro car parts book through the website and look for discount codes which are always about
