prize money will work out about£54 per pigeon that would make it about £27,000 divided buy the total amount of races about £13,000 for the winner of the race

i know quit a lot of lads from ireland who were going to have a go but when they seen the trailer and the planning had been refused they decided not to send so the target of a 1000 birds could be realistic enough once its up and running in the proper lofts .

Im sure the birds will be well looked after no matter what there racing too .

this is the part i find strange if bill had to give you the birds back his profit would be about £25k as £50 none returnable now if he races his profit up to the final race but not sale of birds, would only be £23k profit and from that feeding and training has to come out of that also tight margin if you ask me with so few birds

yes a nice we pot of £925 each

think your maths is a bit out there danny

you say total prize money for all races is £27,000

divide that by the amount of syndicate members

which i think is around 42

equates to £642 each and thats winning all the prizes available

you are wrong David if you say there are 42 i took it you had 14 doos well the new figure is 42 divided by £13,000 £309.52 per member the £27, 000 is for all races and hotspot prizes the £13,000 is the winners pot, and £23,000 is Billy's for his trouble ruining the show total money in is say £50,000, you will no beat me in a count Davy

but thats what you should be flying for, if billy ups it or lowers it its up to him

he has stated that i am only going on the vale he has put on the pigeon £54 for a members bird, and £ 46 per bird for him self for costs

danny there are 14 birds and 42 syndicate members

my figure is for all prizes going to the syndicate

adding upto £625 each member so the £900 plus each would have to come out a prize pot

of over £38,000

as you say if they win 1st prize that equates to £309 each

i hope the lads do well out of it

and the race becomes a regular feature when everythings sorted out

the total prize pot will not be more than 27,000 davy there say 500 birds they value of them is £54 for the competition £54 x500 = £27,000 for all prizes but the main prize is £13,000 if right be right leaves £14,000 in hot spot winnings and second 3rd 4th 5th 6th places it they don't keep the hot spot race prizes as is then they will be flying for a lot less if the want to put the main prize up , £46 pound has to come of for the one lofts cost, and equates to £46 X 500= £23,000

if going by your reckoning Davy and you won every thing well each member would win £642.85 each

We can all speculate on this or that . but Billy has the final say , why not wait until he updates his site ? people have spoke highly of the OLR then suddenly start de-crying it !!no matter what let the the best bird win and support the event :emoticon-0167-beer:

just because theirs half the birds does not mean it equals the prize money will be half. as it will cost the same to train 500 as it would 1000 on petrol or diesel the cost of driver would be same ect ect. so half the birds does not mean half the expenditure.

THAT SAID GO ON THE PIGEONBASICS DOO.S

spot on,

just relax and billy will update his site with the total of birds, plus prize money. Birds are in great hands and doing well.
