Great day there is no way this should happen a racer beating a show pigeon
b.massey Posted January 20, 2013 Author Report Posted January 20, 2013 Happened a lot this year, all the scottish shows were won by a racer when up against show racers! Racing men are judging and maybe mr mcclary is right with what he says in his column a few times that the british show racers are getting too big and the racing man will no longer pick them
DJWa Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 there is no way this should happen a racer beating a show pigeon why noti for 1 think that a racers make up muscle tone etc etc is far better than a show racersbut thats my opinion the race must of been better in its own class than the show birds in thiers im assuming that like at crufts with dogs , any breed can winits just who is the better specimin of thier own class and overall the better bird

THEN WHEN YOU WIN ONE YOU CAN STRUT ABOUT THE HALL LIKE A PEACOCK OR A PEAHEN
franny41 Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 Well done to Mrs and Mrs G thresher who won the 200mile old cocks class with a blue wf and it went onto the stage to win best racer and best in show. THEN WHEN YOU WIN ONE YOU CAN STRUT ABOUT THE HALL LIKE A PEACOCK OR A PEAHEN youve got to remember that the rpra show is a raceing organisationnot a show pigeon one you have the show racer society for thatracers dont compete there for bis so i wouldnt allow show birds to compete in bis in the rpra one
Ian McKay Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 youve got to remember that the rpra show is a raceing organisationnot a show pigeon one you have the show racer society for thatracers dont compete there for bis so i wouldnt allow show birds to compete in bis in the rpra one It was started by the BHW as a show bird show and still is
DJWa Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 It was started by the BHW as a show bird show and still is fair enough ianjust strange that a racing organisation would not include the majority of its member in that initial setup
Jumbo Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 All show racer society's are members of the RPRA
Ian McKay Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 fair enough ianjust strange that a racing organisation would not include the majority of its member in that initial setup BHW was a paper not a racing society
Ian McKay Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 BHW was a paper not a racing societyAlthough bought over but they only administer the show Read all about it on another site which you are a member on That's why all money goes to charity All show racer society's are members of the RPRA Fit does that mean :emoticon-0179-headbang:
DJWa Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 BHW was a paper not a racing society does the rpra not own the bhwi could be wrong though
Ian McKay Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 does the rpra not own the bhwi could be wrong though Yes but the show is a registered charity so they cannot change it
