Thanks Scott
Wiley Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Scott I Cannot promise anything, but if my breeding season goes well, get in touch in April, and I will give you a few young birds, however you would have to pay the carriage from London. But as I said it's entirely down too, taking my own young first.
Guest ConsettFlyer12 Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 yes, a pigeon fancier about 5 miles away at the allotments, i had to pay £20 10 for the club and £10 for Nehu. thanks wiley, im okay with that ill get in touch in april!
Wiley Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 Keep in mind Scott I cannot promise anything as of yet, as I'll need to take our own requirements first.

Just starting up this year again with my old partner who had lost interest in the pigeons over the last 3 -4 year. So basically there in a bit of a shambles. I'm having to race young birds of this year who have not raced at all as yearlings next year. There parents would have cost a fair bit and were gifted to my partner by a top top flier in our fed, to try get him back interested. Anyhow as I'm wanting to concentrate on channel flying I'm only rearing about 30ybs off the stock we have put together and 4 of the old cocks that we have for racing. However all this years cocks the ones that my partner was gifted etc (about 16) I am going to train over the winter and what is left come pairing time your welcome to the young ones (if theres anything left) and if you want a round of the stock sure we can sort something out but will be later on. Like I say these birds haven't been tested as of yet but I plan on giving them a good go next year. We fly in consett fed at medomsley hs

hibby Posted November 18, 2012 Report Posted November 18, 2012 http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/topic/61936-part-of-our-setup-whood-cocks/#entry789143 There's some of the cocks there that the young ones will be off. Last time I started the birds I was about your age. One thing there's a good load of genuine fliers in our neck of the woods who will help you as much as poss. (Ps birds were in moult in pics so a little scraggy here and there.)
Guest ConsettFlyer12 Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Thankyou very much, ill pm message you,
hibby Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Ps don't get rid of your tumblers. Youl need flappers for your racing pigeons when there coming back from races, keep hold of them. Can always float eggs under them too of your pair of racers so youl get double

Thanks Scott hi scott ..have you sorted out a club yet?you will need someone to give you advice from your club and to give you the idea where shortcuts can be made for you...instead of you going the long way round to do things.hopefully someone will take you under their wing to give you much needed advice. once you have joined a club and got some experience then i would consider having more birds.most of us can offer ybs to you but do you have the loft to fit them all in?..what size is it? i will most prob have some ybs for you later on in the year if you have not raced b4 and need any items then put what you need up m8 im sure some in your area will help you out
ovy1255 Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 scott get in touch---4 ready for you if you want them .
