geordie1234 Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 Why would anyone dislike the Union flag? It represents Britain Sadly the Union flag is not welcome the same as the Tricolour isn't at Ibrox welcome to the west of Scotland my friend
billt Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 Sadly the Union flag is not welcome the same as the Tricolour isn't at Ibrox welcome to the west of Scotland my friend I'm Southern English George, are you saying the Irish flag is more acceptable in parts of Scotland?
geordie1234 Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 I'm Southern English George, are you saying the Irish flag is more acceptable in parts of Scotland? It has nothing to do with Scotland not one bit it is to do with Rangers and Celtic and some of the fans not all
billt Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 It has nothing to do with Scotland not one bit it is to do with Rangers and Celtic and some of the fans not all I'm not big into politics but with the news you couldn't help but see the American election and the one thing that came across was that Americans are very patriotic considering they are a very mixed race and a very huge country, Then there's us, a tiny mob and no loyalty at all to each other, unless there's a war going on

To a Celtic fan a Union Jack is a rangers flag and a Tri colour is a Celtic flag to a Rangers fan it's not anything really to do with politics it may have been many many moons ago but now it's just one of the biggest football rivalries in the world which will retun.
VMS Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 I'm Southern English George, are you saying the Irish flag is more acceptable in parts of Scotland?Yes mate embarasment to Scotland but that's sadly part of our society

wee red hens Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012   :lol:The Scottish Republican Party are none other than the Labour and SNP. They are not Unionists. They are also pacifists who are ashamed of our past and would not celebrate our war heroes. They should be shown the door. The BBC is an overtly left-wing organisation andalso full of RC's and because of this they will not report anything positive about Rangers, or if they can help it anything positive about the armed forces. The mhedia in Scotland have been infested by RC's and plastic paddies for years. They are inherantly anti-Rangers and they have conducted ethnis cleansing of any pro-Rangers voices. So why the surprise? The key thing is that we did the Rangers thing; the right thing; and for the right reasons. The troops on the pitch will remember the crowd and the team for the rest of their lives. They will know the the Protestant, Unionist and patriotic Scots support them and appreciate them, for what they have done and continue to do. That is enough
