Global warming is getting worse, but nobody seems to care about the future. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

same here robin here most of year summer months hardly see them ;) I thought they was migrating birds ???

Scandinavian and Russian Robins migrate to Britain and western Europe to escape the harsher winters. These migrants can be recognized by the greyer tone of the upper parts of their bodies and more orange breast.

Yes we do get migrants here but they are with us all year and as Ian says the are very aggressive to their own kind, they will fight to the death

theres robins here all year round and breed in our garden and surrounding areas , they seem to have there own corner as when another lands in the wrong area they fight , feathers flying . The geese have been hear in hugh sceens all year going back and forth in the 1000,s at times , been in the feilds at a few of the local lochs all summer , most seem to have just stayed :emoticon-0167-beer:

Been real chilly mornings & evenings - OBs are falling to bits in moult; leaves on trees are changing colour; and for over a week now the skies have been criss-crossed with geese heading south (at roof height) and gulls? heading north...

I have a resident pair of Robins in the garden; no sign of cock breast turning red though...

Cocks and hens are identical and have red breasts the whole year
