You not think that individual pigeons from diffo families can click at certain ages while similarly bred pigeons win from the start?

my vanreet cocks are very slow maturing and a bit stupid but as yearling and onwards tootally diff doos , the hens are a bit quicker maturing but not much , my old david hulme busshies feh they could win at aboot 8 weeks old very quick maturing and all rounders

 

you always get the exception to the rule way all doos though

Think your right tam they've had there day we could even fly them 3 or 4 year ago when we were getting half a dozen landing on the loft at a time from most races to many new breads on the go now for the vans to compete with.

Bought 16 from GWP MacAloney and they have performed very very well
