does anybody else want some. no point in everybody paying the delivery.

Portek have a good reputation.

I have never used them but I can guarantee that Percy does not like loud bangs.

Wish our Fed would buy some,would be very useful for our first two young bird races which are in Peregrine Country.

let off before birds go out,what happens when percy drifts in once birds are flying. sam may be a better but but quite expensive.

rockets arrived this morning after ordering on saturday

 

let one off at percies and they have not been seen since so ybs had a good fly without being bothered

 

total cost was £20 a box of 10 and £5 carriage

The Chapelhall van used to use before releasing the birds from there training flights with great effect. Possible we should release before each liberation? Would possible prevent initial attack.

Got to try something to protect the pigeons.

IMO should be normal part of transporter equipment. Think Lanarkshire were the first to pilot it a few years back. Criticism loud and IMO unjustified on their first (and last?) attempt, they were said to have set off the rockets too close to transporter and scared the pigeons? Easy to make a mistake first time you try anything new, IMO should have continued with it, as well as flashing red? lights on transporter roof and playing eagle owl recording over loud-speaker system.
