had 7 strays in last night all soaked with rain , fed and watered them in corridor and let them out at 6am , all off like a shot ,

 

theres was 4 of them Lanarkshire birds :emoticon-0167-beer: im sure they would have made home as they were not flown out just soaked :emoticon-0156-rain:

had 22/26 yesterday and another two on the loft at 7 am this morning so up to 24 now

same as my returns worse I've ever had , most club members down 1/3 to 50% of there teams

Solway had a good race with excellent returns overall by what i hear except for me and my mate kt up here 20-40 and 15-40 do no that when laarkshire liberated and they came up through here i never saw a feather for over 3 hrs so if anyone gets a solway do in wing stamped Lockerbie would appreciate it being put up near Moffat :emoticon-0157-sun:

good returns gareth,a cautious start? :) :)

Just in the door at 10pm John, was at a wedding for four days up at Castle Stuart, just past Culloden, had to rely on one of my sons to basket some young birds, ( he even managed to send the 17 year old stock cock up) ..LOL then relied on Jim Finnan the secretary to come and take a basket up to the club on Friday, thanks Jim.

 

If I had been home then my five baskets would have went to the club hut. They will all go thus week coming.

Time will tell Davie, but with kind conditions for the rest of the young bird season, then returns will hopefully be good for Lanarkshire members to vote to continue on the natural path down the west for 2013.

He's not interested in the doos in the slightest, at 18 he's only interested in one type of bird Frank...lol.

It was 10/13 when Jim collected the clock at 15.45.
