sapper756 Posted July 26, 2012 Report Posted July 26, 2012 Yesterday as I was sitting in my garden I spotted a stoat run across the front of my lofts and into the next door neighbors garden. Later another neighbour who lives near by came to my door to inform me she has a stoat under her garden shed, I informed her I was aware of it. I met her later at night and she informed me she had contacted SSPCA, who advised her to contact the council environmental department re this issue. She done this and was shocked to hear the council say that stoats " are not on our list" so were not interested. This lady has dogs, cats and young children in her garden. So I am currently very cautious at the moment, until I am satisfied this stoat is caught or gone.
bibendium Posted July 26, 2012 Report Posted July 26, 2012 if it get access into your loft you will be in trouble.Find it, catch it or kill it quickly.

sapper756 Posted July 26, 2012 Author Report Posted July 26, 2012 Thankfully, no sign of the stoat today, but I certainly will not be dropping my guard, so soon.http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif
sapper756 Posted July 27, 2012 Author Report Posted July 27, 2012 Just spoke to the lady, she informs me that a male friend set a trap yesterday with bate in it, and to date there is no sign of the stoat, she informs me also that her cat at one point did attack the stoat and have a good go at it, the stoat was squealing loudly, "MON THE CAT" so maybe that was enough to scare it out of this area. So it may be gone, but would have preferred for it to be caughthttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif
