Guest Dorset-lad Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 It was said on sky this morning he said it was jack? Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has reportedly held talks with chairman Daniel Levy amid claims the 65-year-old's tenure at White Hart Lane is set to come to an end. The Spurs manager's camp and the club have not commented on reports that both parties have reached breaking point in not being able to reach agreement over an extension to his current deal, which is due to expire next summer. It has been claimed that Levy is only willing to offer Redknapp a rolling 12-month contract whereas the former Portsmouth manager is thought to want a longer deal. An outraged Redknapp earlier insisted that there was no truth in reports he has resigned as Tottenham manager. Redknapp did achieve Levy's goal of reaching the top four last term, but Spurs missed out on playing in the UEFA Champions League after Chelsea's penalty shoot-out win over Bayern Munich last month. Redknapp has repeated his call for Levy to hand him a new deal, claiming the impasse could see an exodus of the club's top players like Luka Modric and Gareth Bale. Extension"The simple situation is, I've got a year left on my contract," he told ESPN Soccernet. "It's up to Tottenham whether they want to extend that contract or not. "If they don't extend it and I go into my last year, it's not an easy one when players know you've only got a year left. "It's not a case of me looking for security. What it's about is players knowing you've only got one year left on your contract and knowing that it doesn't work, basically. "I think it's a situation of, 'well, he might not be here next year'. "You don't let players run into the last year of their contract if you think they're any good, and you don't let managers run into the last year of their contract if you think they're any good. "It's up to Tottenham. If they think I'm okay and I've done a decent job and deserve an extension, they'll give it to me. "If Daniel doesn't think I'm worth it, that's up to him, that's up to the club. There's nothing I can do about it."

A lot of talk of Moyes and the Swansea chap the big players will simply jump ship I wouldn't like to say who there going to get, but to be an ambitious top four club those managers being named if I was bale, modric, Van Der Vaart if they do come in they'll jump like the Spanish captain aboard the costa concorda
