greenlands Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 For quite a while now my security light has been coming on through night, usually about the same time, midnightish. The same bloody cat and always comes over the wall at the same place between the stock loft and the back door.I think that particular area is a blind spot for the ultra sonic deterrent. So I got a new deterrent and I've never seen the cat/security light for two weeks .????

THE FIFER Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 the best one is the scarecrow water jet,
Roland Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Hope it stays the same mate. The most realistic ones at my local suppliers are £9. Same price as a battery charger eh He says that mostly they are bought to protect the chicken feed from other crows etc. I hope like the Owl statues etc. once realised that they don't move they are back to normal. Good luck.
greenlands Posted April 23, 2012 Author Report Posted April 23, 2012 This one moves Roland, least bit of wind and it spins,It's mounted on a cane.

THE FIFER Posted April 23, 2012 Report Posted April 23, 2012 Found these online at £19.99, Boddy & Ridewood are £79.99 for the same thing yes I got 2 from bib up on the TV , £14 for the 2, same as I paid £74 for, but they do work, I only put them on now and again when I think the cats are coming back, have 5 all round me but get no problem, think they all have a good soaking, dont come back for more, so up until now fine, see the cats in their own garden but not mine, I wouldnt go away and leave loft open, though, I also have the deterrent on all the time I think Solway Feeders on site has a few things ,crows etc http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/topic/43808-solway-feeders/
