Can anyone please specify early symptoms of allergy's to pigeon dust proteins...does a sore throat cover these symptoms along with fever and suchlike?

I have looked at info online but just seem to find information on serious P.F.L.symptoms.

I think so David but why not get tested to confirm or eliminate your concerns it's a simple blood test

I have sent to the pigeon fanciers lung foundation for a test kit and should get that in the post today..I have been very unwell as of late with all the symptoms but i also have a very sore throat..

It can be symptomless, David. Went to Blackpool last year with specific intention of getting tested & came back with a reading of 29, which is said to be moderate 'maybe with symptoms'. Surprised at positive result, cos I don't have symptoms, but I now wear a mask when cleaning out.

Here you go mate,just follow the link,they will send you a kit out,make an appointment to see a nurse/GP.They will take the blood sample required and you post the kit back to the test centre.

I have been thinking iv'e got throat cancer but now i think it could be the doo's..Life goes on i guess.

have you seen the articles about rabbit hutch lofts,built one 21 foot long 3 sections just under 3 feet wide by 7 foot on legs just under waist high easy to clean do not enter loft wear a mask no probs yet.

some of the fanciers down here in s.wales have had good results with antihistamines..

i was told it gives u flu like symptons by some friends that say they have it but they didnt get it confirmed.

Resuts back today from Glasgow university for Blood tests state i have a reading of 9micro.per gramm of blood.

This measures as very mild and any future problems can be remedied from developing further with the aid and use of a good mask (JUST LIKE TOOSHY SAY'S)!!

 

I am more than happy with those results but it does appear the ill feeling i had was the dust playing games and blocking my sinus!!

I will never be without my mask again.

 

 

All in all a good conclusion!
