Hi everyone,

New member here, and new to pigeon racing. Just wanted to say hello. My dad used to race pigeons alot years and years ago. We have been talking about getting a few young pigeons. Ive just moved into a new house so am going to have the shelter built in my back garden. Were from manchester, will we find it easy enough to find some pigeons for sale just to start off with? I dont know much myself and am planning on doing some research, my dad has experience but it was along time ago and im guessing things wouldve changed a bit.

Thanks

Hallam eh! As long as your dad didn't fly the Busearts lol.

Welcome aboard.

Get a local to get some 'Latebreds' for you'. Let  them just hand around your loft (the odd chuck on nice windles and sunny days won't hurt none. Then breed of them and race the youngsters next year. Good luck to yer.

Welcome to the site.

Get yourself a loft sorted, there are planty of threads on here to read and then find out where your local club is.

Once you have an idea what you want at the moment there are latebreds available or if its going to take you a while to get ready then start with some youngsters in the new year.

Who is your dad?

Phil
