if your birds have not been out around the loft for a few weeks, then it could be the 1st of several to come down with wattery droppings.

i would stop giving any minerals and vitamins for a few days.

have you given the birds anything different in last few days?

watch the bird after eating and to see how much water it takes ..maybe drinking excessive.

worms maybe the problem but if its regularly happening then a droppings test would be advisable to see if anything is in the birds.

now I`m no expert , but i have had the odd bird that is like yours with wet droppings but is shinning and full of zest ! have been told it has para/cocci/worms the lot but asked the brother who has more experiance than most and was told to feed them beans only and if the droppings don`t get better then get rid ! but it worked , think that some birds just eat the smaller grains and end up a bit watery.

hope this helps .

Had 1 bird like that during moulting, changed the corn from moulting mix to best all round and the droping are spot on!!

I would try changeing the corn b4 treating with anything :)

i have a cock here who would win in the show pen ,except if the judge seen the droppings ,would pass him by. he has always been the same ,did think of doing away with him as a youngster ,tried all sorts to rectify it .his only saving grace was my cousin and another friend also had a cock each with the same problem ,both were multi prize winners and bred winners . so he was raced and won club ,fed and combine tickets . put him to stock when i moved up last year , bred 2 fed toppers , so although unhappy with the state of the floor in his box , he will stay .

prob the barley, try hard corn? have known widowhood cocks to get theh squirts when on depurative then almost like magic it clears within up 24hrs when back on a mixture... but for peace of mind i'd also be getting a test done.
