Guest KING BILLY Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 to keep you all up to speed it has come about now, that the pilgrims that want to fly East, are wanting the ruling changedso as they can fly with another fed, not sure if the south lanarkshire is there fed of choice but i always thought they flew west, so there must be a fed out there willing to take them east pentland maybe.if thay go thay should never get back in this caryon about going els whare because thay dident get thare own way is out of order the men that have voted for years to go down the west have to be admired for stiking by the fed and not trying to join another fed or chang rules thare better away good ridens to bad rubish
Guest bigda Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 Danny will you actually be going to the meeting this time or just sit on here talking crap after the meeting is over like usual????no i will not manage it Alf, I have football commitments this week, but should they change the rule 33 the fed is divided, no matter what people see as there human rights, do away with the rule. OF ALLOWING DUAL MEMBER SHIP even for the ones that have been gifted it they have had it long enough to decide what fed they want to fly in and you have a chance of keeping a federation in tack, bed hopping is not the right choice for any fed, as you would never know how many baskets you need, how many transporters you have to organise, and you would be making voting count for nothing. that's the way i see it Alan, east men do not want to go there so they want to change the rules. they have the choice next year but in my opinion we can not vote for east or west next year as it has to be central the next step, or the games over in lanarkshire.

Guest bigda Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 include all birdage with your fed fees at the start of the season like some other feds dothen youve no worrys as all the races are then paid for upfront and it doesnt matter if youve 100 birds or 10,000 going to any given raceif fanciers decide not to go to a race or races then its them that lose out not the fedso that then would make no diff if they had duel membershipsound a good idea, that would make our fed dues and shu feesplus birdage fee total would be about £250 each per year that would not be to bad i suppose, £250 x 400 members giving us £100,000 £6,000 would have to go to the shu leaving the fed £94,000to run the fed think its £20,000 would be the cost of transport leaving £70,000 £5 per week
geordie1234 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 I would be quite happy to pay it all up front I'm sure it would get they birages up aswell as people have already paid so may aswell use it JMHO
Guest Tooshy Boy Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 I THINK THE MEETING WILL BE A SHOUTING MATCH.///HOPE I AM WRONG.////

JohnQuinn Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Not quite sure what to expect at tomorrow's meeting but i have been advised by another Fed that 5 Lanarkshire clubs have applied to join them. Also i have been advised They will be refused membership as there is no room for them.
Guest WINGS 04 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 lol yep, going west, we will find it hard, to take many extra fedsor clubs with us. Danny you have been saying it lanarkshire fed so why worry about anyone else
gulkie Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 sound a good idea, that would make our fed dues and shu feesplus birdage fee total would be about £250 each per year that would not be to bad i suppose, £250 x 400 members giving us £100,000 £6,000 would have to go to the shu leaving the fed £94,000to run the fed think its £20,000 would be the cost of transport leaving £70,000 £5 per weekand how members do you think we will lose with thissuggestion there are a lot of punters that cant affordit
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Not quite sure what to expect at tomorrow's meeting but i have been advised by another Fed that 5 Lanarkshire clubs have applied to join them. Guest pigeonguy147 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Where you told which clubs they were??? as i would be very surprised if this were true.i heard the same rumour about 2 weeks ago all the clubs are from your side of the clyde gareth
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 i heard the same rumour about 2 weeks ago all the clubs are from your side of the clyde gareth Hi George that then tells me it is a rumour, perhaps a fancier of his own back has enquired from five different clubs, but no more than that. If any clubs from my side of the clyde leave to join another fed then i will donate £50.00 to the pigeonbasics arson fund for each one that does.

ALF Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 I have heard of 2 clubs that are looking elsewhere for training facilities down the east but as for leaving the fed that's a new wan on me
Guest bigda Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 and how members do you think we will lose with thissuggestion there are a lot of punters that cant afforditthere are other ways that the members can afford it sell a raffle ticket, to get there funds up have a in house sale in there club, dont leave it to every other joe, this has been a problem all along with the sport of racing pigeons in Scotland. anyhow, this should never have happened, the SHU should have had its own function @ social club and a hall where it could have sold every thing about racing pigeons, we would have had every pigeon dance in its premises, every show, they should have had anything about pigeons sewn up, and every sale and auction should have been made to go through them, even medication the lot, have our own vetso dont tell me we cant afford it, £5 a week and they dont pay anything more, this is based on flying 25 birds every race all 18 races of them. the guys that fly more need a break alsoas the ones that say they cant afford it, generally smoke drinkand all such,if your sport was golf it would cost you £600 a year, so dont let the misers get you down. they days of getting somthing for nothing is over. you know the old saying if it gets to hot, in the kitchen get out.
delboy74 Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 I have heard of 2 clubs that are looking elsewhere for training facilities down the east but as for leaving the fed that's a new wan on meThey must be near coatbridge then???? Cause west don't suit them ! Who are they?
