DJWa Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 just tell them we all going back to rubbers if they dont drop the prices and get a list of names clubs ect that will p*ss them right off bunch of crooks if everone raced their youngbirds on rubbers for a yearthats them with virtually nothing coming in moneywise for a year i raced my y/bs this year on rubbers and saved myself about £40 on the ringsof lost y/bs if everyone did this you would soon see the prices drop
frank-123 Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 if everone raced their youngbirds on rubbers for a yearthats them with virtually nothing coming in moneywise for a year i raced my y/bs this year on rubbers and saved myself about £40 on the ringsof lost y/bs if everyone did this you would soon see the prices drop me too done it the last two years back on rubber's for the young birds
just ask me Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 if everone raced their youngbirds on rubbers for a yearthats them with virtually nothing coming in moneywise for a year i raced my y/bs this year on rubbers and saved myself about £40 on the ringsof lost y/bs if everyone did this you would soon see the prices drop im not to sure it would there is a world wide market for these rings and Britain and Ireland combined would only be a small percentage im sure they would take a hit for a few year
DJWa Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 im not to sure it would there is a world wide market for these rings and Britain and Ireland combined would only be a small percentage im sure they would take a hit for a few year i still think that it would bring the price down say they sell 1 million rings next year instead of say 4 million at say £1.30 a ring the gross loss in revinue would be 3.9 million they would be better off selling rings at £1 and getting the 4 million sales againjmobecause what company can afford to lose 3/4 of their salesok this is only in the uk but what price are they charging abroadive heard they are a lot cheaper abroad some have bought the cheaper ringsbut found they were not compatable to the uk systemsi wonder why a battery was i think £40 to change 3 years ago why is it so much nowthe reason is they have flooded the market over here with unikon systemsso arnt getting the sales the only way to get the same revinue is to bump up the prices of everything elsethey are now wanting clubs to pay i think £60 to insure their base stations these figures are only used as an example and are probably nowhere near the true figures
