maverick Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 When i first started keeping pigeons there was a corn mill around 3 miles from me i would go up on a saturday afternoon and sweep the yard for the guy and i was alowed to fill a bag with what corn there was there if i could carry it the guy said i could have it

Maybe that'd be a good thing,I doubt very much these fanciers had to use Parastop am only joking we've got to be happy about the good quality feed mixtures and supplements we have available but think maybe some lofts(mines included)would benefit from a bit more of this "survival of the fittest" mentality in some form.

Funny you should say that, My main mob,about 60 birds, are on open loft and fed on mixed corn, poultry feed, and nothing else other than water, Then I have a stock loft and y/bird loft for those off the stock, all I can say is the main mob look in great nick

I have tried them with the stock birds feed and they wont touch it
