Guest bigda Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 hope all you distance men take heed, this weekend is to have a very high k index of 4, the highest of the month. so don't be blaming race controllers for your birds not returning. and when you go to your agm, why not ask your national to give you all, a prep race of about 150- 200 mile before your, young bird race. as the only thoughts of such a race is in most of your heads anyway, then the Lanarkshire will only need to, address Lanarkshire business to Lanarkshire members.

Delboy Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 Had 2 tosses, Monday and Thursday, Monday- a fancied one killed by percy in front of my eyes, birds strung out over 2-3 hours.Today, Thursday- No1 fancied bird returns minus tail.( he was first in Forth /Clyde convoy from Thirsk at weekend)Still another 2 not home yet 10.40 am lib My birds returning and still sitting out for ages. They are in super nick but everything is *expletive removed* against them. This race at the weekend is a game of chance, tired pigeons coming across into the west will get hawked , guaranteed. You start to lose faith in this sport
