THE FIFER
Not long back from Davie's were the progress has been astounding especially considering its only been 4 days since his loft went up in flames. New 16 foot loft has been put in place with the roof being put on tomorrow along with the sputniks and the vents this all done by a kind hearted pigeonbasics joiner. Big thankyou to Muttley(Davie) who brought 12 new widowhood boxes free of charge and also gave a hand to clear the fire debris,Other fanciers there giving a hand tonight who are worth the weight in gold were:- Alan Torrance - AlfGerry McFall - RegJohn Hood - Alec mcGuinessJim FinnanWilliam RamageAdam HamiltonJohn Simpson Well done lads :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: great well done, you are all a credit to the sport and the site, :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Guest Gareth Rankin
This is the man who is a member of Basics who deserves a big pat in the back for coming to the rescue of Davie Cross. He designed, supplied 80% of the materials free of charge and had it done within a week of the old loft being burnt down. Well Done Davie Frame(POMPY), Lesmahagow :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Guest Gareth Rankin
Final photo is of Davie Cross who has been in the sport for nearly 45 years, Davie who is 84 years of age is a very quiet man who struggle's to get by with the cost of racing pigeons, without all these generous people who have taken part in the rebuilding of his loft then he would have had to finish in a sport that he loves. As you can see by the 2 photos, it is amazing of what a difference 7 days can make and also goes to show how powerful and positive Pigeonbasics can be. :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:
