midland fed boundry 12 miles from Airdrie cross frank.sections are sections boys we have had some great fanciers past and present lying in the east of the west section,look at this years gold cup,great fancier,great birds,great location, imo very hard to beat. :);) ;)

 

Aye there has to be a boundary somehwere.The folk right on it are always up for criticism(very often unfairly)

 

A gid flier once told me about the SNFC-Theres room for us all :P

flew myself with a great deal of success in section/region f for 20 odd years and imo in a favourable position,have flown in section e for the last 7 or 8 years and with a less favourable position imo we have done ok. :)

i can see why slamannan is in region e but falkirk never in a month of sundays

same with stb flying in region F its madness

time it was looked at using postcodes area's

i see your point frank,but most of this has been covered at SNFC agms in the past. :( :(

It's because when camelon club folded the majority of members applied to join Denny club and were accepted, so that was them into region e

now lewis thats central scotland patter.you would not get away with that in the west section. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Delighted for Avonbrigs West Section lads actually.Hughie Menzies wi 3 on the night and brother John with his first ever day bird from the channel :D Lovely stuff

 

Back to us east boys-Of Course Youngy needs no introduction,he'll be well up again for the 4th year in a row :)

same here frank,davie is a great guy and whatever the out come still a great doo,not sure what the answer is m8,this will come up again as there are a lot of lads in the west section from this area who if in sec d would be flying against broxburn east calder winchburgh etc.not sure what is best. :( :( :(

camelon was in sect d when in north west fed ,, but when they joined denny club that put them in section e midland fed ,

 

my fed is glasgow and glasgow has always been section f , the only way to be in sect e is join the lan , but were oot the boundry or go doon the west way the midland but am no that insane :rolleyes: :rolleyes:blantyre and ek would have been section f asweel when they flew in glasgow too :rolleyes:

thought it was where you lived not what club you were in

Does the sections not go with federations, but something needs to be in place because as time goes on and clubs finish the members need to go somewhere and could lead to more confusion

in essence you could have two birds come to the one village and both win there sections

 

like delboy and stb both in kirkintilloch but one region e one region f

when we split area's in our taxi business never do you use a street as a split you use railway lines ,postcode boundray,grass area's rivers and streams

Got to say Youngy is one of the best fliers I've ever met,its embarassing sitting ma basket beside his up the club at times-the doos are emaculate!!Theres no very much he couldnae tell ye aboot doos but him and W.D wouldnae tell ye a birds nest :P:emoticon-0136-giggle:

Nah Alan.Avonbrig is one of the few clubs I've heard ae that has members in the East and the West region.There may be more mind you ??

think you might be talking about john mcgarry frank he won the section d from eastbourne last year he stayed in camelon but was a member of laurieston club in fact his loft was further west than the man that's getting mentioned the now duncan hogg

delboy was always sect f asweel until they went into midland fed and became region e , alex guinness would be same hes now sect e and all the guys across the road from him are sect f , there are very few sect e members in kirkintilloch or around it all the rest are sect f

Was you're members in the west section before they joined avonbridge ?
