Our old Philllips has given up the ghost after 10 years. Were now needing a new one and thinking of a Panasonic Viera 37" or 40".

What do you think of them, and where is the best place to go for TVs?

Thanks

go to a good dealer that is the agent for panasonic then tey will fix it in shop and won't have to be sent to workshops miles away.

Hi Josh

Do your home work and shop around your local area and choose the TV that you would like then if you have a John Lewis in your area go to them and they will do a price match on the tv that you have chosen plus throw in a free 5 year warranty.

Got myself a great deal on a LG 50" Plasma with great spec then priced matched at John Lewis plus 5 year warrenty which is worth a good few quid.

If looking for a tilting bracket to hang it on the wall don't buy the ones in the shop as they are too expensive, go to Amazon , got mine for £24.00 and could hold giant haystacks from it.

I will not buy from giants like Comet or Currys.  Our local shop will price match, install and return to sort it out if there are any problems. I always try to support local business. Worth asking for price match when you've chosen what you want.
