I was reminded the night, that who ever bough David Frews 2 yb that he kindley donated to this good cause, that the PERSON, didnt even call him or make no attempt to collect the ybs from David, they were the pick owe his yb team.

Looking at the sale list, the PERSON, hasnt what looks like to havent even paid for them, so thats less money for the guid cause.

You try yir best, and people let you down, whats the point. ;)

Some facts for you to peruse

9 sales

4 H 4 H

2 Olivia Downie

2 Breeder Buyer

1 East Fife footie team

East Fife footie team have been paid in full

9 let downs (to date)

281 Doners

426 Birds

This equates to a 3.20% let down rate (approx) not to good at maths

I am a happy bunny with this low let down rate and it shows just how good the members on Basics are at giving their support :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Plus approx £11,500 :egyptian: :egyptian:

I appologise for the people that have let us down but look on the positive side

I have a list of the Doners / Bidders who have let us down :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang:

Ian's done a cracking job and we thank the members for supporting these sales whether it be donating or buying , it is a shame some don't make good there offers / donations , but the quicker the site knows there's an issue then the site can do something about it , so lets not let the few spoil what was on the face of it a very good sale for a very good cause :) and again well done to Ian for doing this for the site :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

100% agree, there was 113 lots with 4 defaults on a quick count, so not bad , still a great success, :emoticon-0137-clapping:

Ian,

At the end owe the day, i had gotten names from Fife Fanciers for ybs for the cause, what am saying is the guy didnt even have the balls to contact the guy to arrange for the ybs, and looking at the sale list he hasnt even paid for them, so it sort owe lets the guy who donated the ybs down as well.

If this is allowed to go on with future sales, you can rest assure you will get the cold shoulder from guys on here.

But this isnt the first time this person has done this, and got awe with no paying, and was allowed to do it again, nothing said, nothing done. ;)

Erch you were there at the time when it was discussed, and you can see that the Father was rather annoyed after his young lad saying yes to a pair of ybs for the cause.

defaulter won't be allowed to bid in future and as Ian runs the sales he knows who they were :)

It is a Measure of those who let everyone down NOT a measure of this great site or the fanciers using it.SHAME ON THEM.

Well done to over 100 fanciers who kept their word and made a fantastic sum of cash for the various VERY good causes

in fairnnes cem with the large amount of lots bids birds sold there was a large amount of money raised do we stop these charity sales just because there one or two things went a litte a stray that would be a terrible shame as look at what has gone to charity already by the basics members

ive see the way ian runs things(second to none jmo) with pay pall etc and im sure he has a list ;)

and every lot gets sold bid on even in these tough times well done to all

yes and its still on the forum that the young lad donated so still appreciated, unfortunately there are a very few who dont appreciate what we are doing, but it is a few so dont think the vast majority who think about our lads on active service are going to be put off by them, any of them without a reasonable excuse will not be involved in any auction run by the site Administered by Ian in the future, Ian puts in hours of work on those charity auctions and even with the very few defaulters they are a well worthy cause, and a great success, and long may they last,

Dont stop any sales/auctions etc, but stop the people who are defaulting previous JAM,

I no that this guy wont give any more birds because this has happened to him through a DEFAULTER.

I think all bidders should have to register, ie club, fed loft number etc. If they are not members of clubs they should be sponsored by someone who is and that knows them. It will only put people off donating in the future if this happens to them.
