Roland Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 England my England Goodbye to my England, So long my old friend Your days are numbered, being brought to an end To be Scottish, Irish or Welsh that's fine But don't say you're English, that's way out of line. The French and the Germans may call themselves such So may Norwegians, the Swedes and the Dutch You can say you are Russian or maybe a Dane But don't say you're English ever again. At Broadcasting House the word is taboo In Brussels it's scrapped, in Parliament too Even schools are affected. Staff do as they're told They must not teach children about England of old. Writers like Shakespeare, Milton and Shaw The pupils don't learn about them anymore How about Agincourt, Hastings , Arnhem or Mons ? When England lost hosts of her very brave sons. We are not Europeans, how can we be? Europe is miles away, over the sea We're the English from England, let's all be proud Stand up and be counted - Shout it out loud! Let's tell our Government and Brussels too We're proud of our heritage and the Red, White and Blue Fly the flag of Saint George or the Union Jack Let the world know - WE WANT OUR ENGLAND BACK !!!!
REDROCKET Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 very good but the english are the only one's that call themselfs english certainly the scots irish and welsh i've met dont and that union jack isnt english its british mate,no a bad poem though.

Guest strapper Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 dont want to sound controvertial but...didnt the english do the same to the scots ,welsh and irish? many many moons ago...take it on the chin ...we did lol :) but being serious...why we would want to be in europe is beyond me. they ruin everything we want to do...even they allow european fishing boats in the bristol channel entrance to sweep up all the cod..just ask any fisherman who has fished that area for donkeys years...the cod have almost gone. we got to allow so many immigrants into this country to take many jobs and then the goverment asks...why are so many unemployed...well i say to these mps..look at yourselves its your fault. i could go on but i wont
Guest grizzler Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Not sure which way to take that Steve???? Lindsay i mean be a proud english man, as other nations seem to like knocking us
dwh Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 dont want to sound controvertial but...didnt the english do the same to the scots ,welsh and irish? many many moons ago...take it on the chin ...we did lol :) but being serious...why we would want to be in europe is beyond me. they ruin everything we want to do...even they allow european fishing boats in the bristol channel entrance to sweep up all the cod..just ask any fisherman who has fished that area for donkeys years...the cod have almost gone. we got to allow so many immigrants into this country to take many jobs and then the goverment asks...why are so many unemployed...well i say to these mps..look at yourselves its your fault. i could go on but i wont the immigrants get the jobs because of european legislation and the fact that some don't want to work and do the jobs some of them are doing we did'nt want i'm not defending immigrant labour because in my opinion british workers in this climate should be employed ahead of europeans coming into this country specifically to fill vacancies during a booming economy
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 England has long stopped being English
david.j Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 England has long stopped being English thats too right mate
Fair Play Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 For the first time for as long as I can remember I have not registered to vote as I feel it is a waste of time as the only thing to come out of Westminster is the whinging & whining of how hard done to the MPs were over the expenses scandal and how they tried to stop it becoming public
Pompey Mick Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 According to the Oxford 'English' Reference Dictionary , England is no longer a Country. It is, and I quote: 'a part of Great Britain and the United Kingdom largely made up of the area south of the River Tweed' We have no Parliament, no National Anthem and no future. We will be sunk without trace. We need an English Nationalist Party to stand up for our rights and heritage before we have no rights and our heritage is airbrushed out of existance. We are not, and never will be, a 'part' , we are a Nation in our own right.
