just got this of other site

 

speaking to someone on facebook they said there transporter has crashed and pigeons are getting crushed as its toppled over, believed to be around 700 pigeons being crushed at the minute pigeon men are trying to release the crates, halifax west yorkshire that the birds affected in that area,ts in cumbria, police are present and other feds are helping out as much as possible birds will be taken back to carlisle,believe it is/was near penrith

got told most is sorted now people are going to Carlisle to pick up their birds

This is not good news, really feel for you lads. I hope the majority of the birds can be saved.

Also, hope the driver and convoyer are safe.

You certainly don't hear or see of transporters crashing , totally gutted for anyone who sent there birds for this to happen to them , a sad day for all , I hope the majority of the birds are well and in good health , and hope no others were seriously hurt in the tragic accident :(

Sad news. Hope the crew are OK and fatalities / injuries amongst pigeons are few.

Very sad news i hope that the driver and convoyer are ok , and that most of the birds are ok? my sincere thoughts are with the fanciers who have birds on this transporter , a very sad day indeed

dreadful hope it works out. perhaps the crates provided some protection

Is there any more information regarding this incident?

 

Just read on another site, that no birds were killed, but the transporter is a right off.
