eastcoaster Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 try giving a stronger dose of probiotic to the parents and if after that it stays the same it means the yb`s most likely not up to scrath .
benji Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 give orego stim in the water for a couple of days and the droppings will be hard again
eastcoaster Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 give orego stim in the water for a couple of days and the droppings will be hard again SNAP
geordie1234 Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Posted March 24, 2011 SNAPCan i get orego stim from coxydeans guys is that a probiotic
Delboy Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 The droppings are only sloppy with a couple of pairs so I dont see a problem here. Watery feeders imo, put garlic in water and stop the excessive water intake.
eastcoaster Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Can i get orego stim from coxydeans guys is that a probiotic yes mate i think they stock it . but something else you can try is powdered baby milk in the water it is very good for the squab and the parents . my vet told me to use it once a week when breeding as a great stimulant to the yb`s health , but as always some diagree lol .

Delboy Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I DISAGREE ASWEEL ABOOT THE MILK BUT IF THERE NO MINERALS SOME PAIRS ARE NO SO GOOD AT REARING AND YOU DO GET WATERY FEEDERS , BUT I WID NO HAVE ANY THEM THINGS HERE I am the same, cant stand them BUT, I was in a top national guys loft and he had a few watery feeders. He said it didnt make any odds to the ybs??? To back this up he told me one of the ybs I pointed out won the longest race that year. Food for thought
Guest geordiejen Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 i wouldnt worry too much about watery droppings from the squabs.i find in some pairs the droppings are more watery than others but this is not all through the rearing.as long as the droppings are of good colour plenty of grit and minerals, water changed daily they should be fine.also erego stim and things like natural yogurt is a good suppliment for all the birds.
