We must get in there 1st to secure the Oil deals that will benefit the UK. Strategically and geographically they are up there with the most important refining hubs into Europe. Moralistic views do not concern me, the common good of the UK does. Far more important. :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking: :emoticon-0138-thinking:

You don't get it, The masses won't get an halfpence of it. The wealthy just share it amongst themselves and invest more overseas.

We are still invest over seas taking UK's jobs away and bringing cheap nasty imports and lay more of work. Give Joe Public stories of 'Lazy Gits on dole not wanting to work... freeze their Benefits and then enforce them as cheap labour to do jobs for nowt that put more unemployed etc. etc. whilst the 'Fat Cats' get richer still....

Might as well throw ma tuppence worth into this one.

I've got a Very good friend who is from a Pakistani family, he was born here, so was his Da. He works more hours fae Friday tae Sunday night than i would Consider doing in a full Week. For all his hard work he gets the privilege of paying £20k-£25k a MONTH to the tax man.

Gettin on well with a guy from Krakow, moved in just round the corner from my mam, who does 48hrs every week but only gets a flat rate for the extra 8 that he does. (overtime!!!)

Ma neice goes with a wee guy fae Singapore who canny get a job and signs on, his mam and sister are working right enough.

I personally know UMPTEEN guys i grew up with, who have PERHAPS worked a proper job for a few years, Years Ago!!, and have been on DLA/Income Support for years, with this that and the other Imaginary illnesses getting them Extra payments on top. I'm surrounded by hundreds of their ilk.

I'm no suggesting All refugees or immigrants are model citizens, but i bet London to an Orange, percentage wise, our Own are picking our pockets of far more money. jmho.

I'm interested in immigrants and their stories, and would quite happily spend an evening in any of their company learning about them and their lives. I like seeing them steadily getting on through hard work and settling into life in Scotland, a country who's Reputation is of having some of the FRIENDLIEST people you could wish to meet any where in the world.

As for Governments and agreements between them?? I hate the lot of them and and trust none of them, in fact i would happily send them abroad to live on minimum wage in a Mumbai slum.

I live in an area known as up the Braes Falkirk ,its a selection of small ex-mining villages in central Scotland.Admittidely I don't have a lot of first hand experience with immigrants but the ones I have come across work in shops from half 5 in the morning til 10 at night supplying fags and booze to the local DHS folks who are the only people who seem to be able to afford this lifestyle.

Thank f*** for our hard working immigrants for amusing our brew scroungers until the pubs open at 11 o'clock :lol:

Well the USA own Alaska... well as good as all of it. Paid $50 for it from Russia.

So recently they discovered Oil there. There is enough to supply the world times over for 50 years. Within 2 days it was 'Classified’! Pinch and Use Iraq’s / Libyan etc. first eh!

They could flood the market for the next 50 years and have a tremendous influx on trade and cost of living etc. Could have a NHS that the wealthy are taking to the Supreme Court to suppress! Even the very littlest and fundamental basics of free aid too the class of poor people.

Yet so much cheap / slave labour is used to make the fat cats very wealthy of which they are very many – whilst 1/3 of American suffer from Malnutrition, the rest grow big and fat, ugly and ... selfishly ignorant.

So does one really believe that there is a social conscious thought for the have not!? Get real.

The twin towers was a sad sad affair. Impossible for them to collapse from above... the American now mostly know it was detonated by.... America....

How embarrassing it was when the BBC announce 30 minute before that the towers had collapsed. That planes were…. Yes the reporter, a female giving the latest news for the BBC Stood there with the cameras and not a plane in sight with the Towers still was standing…. Well for another 30 minutes anyway.

That George Bushes father was actually hold talks with Bin Ladin's father over Arms etc. JUST 300 yards away! He made $27million within the next 30 minutes, and the only plane to leave America was the one TAKING Bin Ladin's family out of the states.

So yes, our governments will rape and pillage other countries.... But nothing comes to help the working masses.

Time for some to get real, to wake up and smell the coffee eh!

When the Slaves were abolished, it was too stop slave labour, it was to transport them ALL out of the country.... one thing led to another and it was banned. It is estimated that they were 11 million slaves world wide at the time...

Time progresses and now there are an estimated 300 million slaves.... :emoticon-0126-nerd: greed of Wealth and power and nuts to thoses that are the ones making it for them!

Read some of these and get the gist.

Remember I also am telling you we are pushing for a war with Argentina. Mark my words well... we need a better, more lethal fort to protect our 'Weathy Fat cat's minerals, gold etc. etc.... and Oil.

America and us are holding billins of galleons of oil back THEY and We own for no more reason that GREED and Money.... and the country as such won't get a free sausage!

I think that a lot of us have many things in common. I have lived a long time and have had experiences that most younger people could not have had. This has affected my attitude and shaped the way I think.

I knew from the start that the EEC would be of little use to the vast majority of us, but look at the gravy train the politicians have. I know it is an old saying but nobody expects the turkeys to vote for Xmas, and they will not want to change anything about their gravy train. IB I will bet that when things really tighten up, and we have only seen the start of things up to now, everyone will feel like some of the people on here. Food will become very much more expensive, and we can already see what is happening to fuel, energy and even water. Housing is so short in some places that it is reaching crisis point. How long do you think we should carry on allowing Immigrants to jump the queue for rented accommodation? We all know that there are a great many places here in modern Britain where the Police can not go and a stranger will be risking life and limb to attempt to go to these no go areas. At one time we prided ourselves as being one of the most civilised Countries in the World. We all accepted the rule of law and behaved as civilised people should. These days we have kidnapped women forced to work as prostitutes, drugs blight a great many lives and the dealers are able to carry on while they are subject to their own warped discipline. Bankers openly use slight of hand to make profits so large that they must have friends in high places to get away with it. Then there is the huge financial obstacle they have placed in the path of the young who might like to find a way out of all this sh!t. The sons and daughters of the wealthy will still be able to gain University degrees because they will have had the benefit of private education and the funds to guarantee that they will be able to get to the top. Already most Doctors and Lawyers are from a background of private education. Just how bad does it have to become before we say "STOP". Many years ago when I was in my teens I used to talk to old soldiers that had fought in the first World War and my Father's generation were reasonably young then most of whom had fought in the Second Great War. I am sure that none of these brave men would have wanted what we have had imposed on us these days.

The post is really quite simple Roland cant for the life of me understand why you are having difficulty with it.This is about securing a constant supply not the individual purse of joe public. :emoticon-0179-headbang:

Constant supply, but that is about Joe public, and not flooding the market and making it too cheap.... Hold it back. There are many countries in South America and all over the place... We only pinch it to make the Wealthy rich and what not. That is why there isn't a flood of it on the market, and won't be even if we continue to pinch it from Irag and then libia etc. Greed.

How much in real terms do you think a lite of Petrol for instance is to Buy, cleanse transport it here and to the pumps cost, and how much is TAX! Is one to believe that the USA and the french, Germany buy it for pounds below us? Time to smell the oil i reckon lol.

There will never be a flooding of the market. OPEC . Would think pre tax transport fuel must average at 40 pence a litre retailing to us at £1.30 a litre but the revenue to support the NHS,DHS and the armed forces is huge and must be created from a source and OIL is that major contributer.Fruit juice, carbonated drinks and alcohol all cost relatively comparably a litre so what is the value for money commoditie.Funding your retirement Roland.

Well towards being right.... The Imagrants actually fund my pension... we earn 40£billion from them. Think you will find Fuel tax a little higher than that!

So, if the fuel, which till recently was actually cheapest since the early seventies in real terms to buy/ transport and refine etc. was to us 75p a litre, which alone would bring down nigh 70 of all other costs NATIONWIDE. The knock on effect would be tremedous. from BAIBIES milk - which the joke that VAT isn't on such items.... just everything involved to produce and market / sell it - to house prices would fall tremedously etc. Only trouble is, it waould be a little reduction in the 'Fat Cats' profits.... which would never do, and therefore never hapen.
