tiger Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 how much are you payin for birdage av fed is 35 pence and a pound for longest race , just wonder what other feds pay ?
WulDon Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 we kick off at 35p per bird, increases as birdage drops and as we get further down the road... with recent fuel increases i reckon birdage could be in excess of 40p this year. its time smaller Feds got together and started convoying with one another, we have another Fed on our doorstep which if we convoyed together from first race onwards it would save in excess of £300 per week! for races in excess of 300 miles then the amalgamation should be brought back...

Guest IB Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 We pay 35p per bird increasing to 40p as we get further out; Later races the birdage drops, so we joint convoying with Central Fed. Open races are £1 per bird.
Guest spin cycle Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 the birdages quoted so far are very cheap IMO. we pay 55p +5p for club racing with norwich nrcc....but there are no membership fees. norfolk & suffolk cc (i think) is 45p/bird +5p club...but you have membership, admin & ctate fees ..aprox 27 pounds/year. nrcc is around 2 to 5 pounds typically.
Guest big slim Posted February 21, 2011 Report Posted February 21, 2011 Pentland Hills Fed is still only 25 pence, which must be about the cheapest in the UK.
