RPRA provide Race point codes I think and then SHU work out distances from these locations.

Guest homestead Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 your loft is pin pointed on a local ordanance survey map and the details are worked out by the Reddings. The race points are pin pointed the same way and the measurements from race point to loft.

To measure the distance between 2 GPS locations anywhere on earth, I think you still need to use Creat Circle measurement. If GPS is inherently inaccurate as members claim, better by far to stick a pin in a map.
