lanarkshire lad Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Any guys on here fly the natural method hat could tell the benefits of flying naturalI am racing natural this year.I dont know about any benefits on the natural? Ive raced roundabout and intend to go back to it as i liked it plus the doos flew ok on it the problem i had was hens pairing up but for this year its the nest game for me.Theres a few guys in this club uddingston that race natural and can hold there own way most in the fed M mcormick for a start. If you can get the roundabout system RIGHT then i think its as good as it gets.JMO
lvlasked Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 im flying natural first year racing tho so i dunno yet but my birds paired up easyly i couldnt belive it
OLDYELLOW Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 the only benift of flying natural is , your birds will go through the cycle of nests at different states each bird will like different stages which motivates them however the down side is they'll moult and not hold a full wing like the roundabouts / widowhood birds , so better pairing later on

THE FIFER Posted January 4, 2011 Report Posted January 4, 2011 I think the natural would be best for the first year racing, will give you more time to know your birds also to learn more about the other methods
