jade do you not want the national to go to the bank and take out some of the members moneys and buy a new truck, are you not for that, do you want to keep the members for another few years on the mooch

 

yes it would be great to have our own state of the art transporter. what size would you go for. To make it worthwhile it would have to be able to take the largest entry i.e Eastbourne. You would then have it going to Reims half full (or half empty). What if Eastbourne was a prolonged holdover? What happens at Bourges? You could buy two transporters but one of them would only be required for three races a year at most. Hardly a sound business decision. Or are you looking for a cheap hire for your fed doos.

jade on a business sense that not on , there are funds there for it no matter for one, and you know that, you can hire a second or mooch from other feds if needed, the fact is you collected for it or hand the money back the lanarkshire are in the same boat in need of a new transporter they will have to face up to there conviction also

DANNY THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE TRANSPORTER FUND SO OUR BIRDS WOULD GET BETTER ATENTION AND COMFORT BUT WE ALL KNOW SOME OF THE CONDITIONS OUR BIRDS HAVE HAD TO GO THROUGH BEFORE GETTING AWAY OR HOME

yes Walter i have preached this for ages, but there are fanciers just keeping brasspening type birds middle distance controlling the national, just as we in the lanarkshire are getting shafted by the national men, with there little entry claiming the most prize money 250 birds in a £3000 pay out

If the SNFC Gold Cup race was flown from a race point that had decent/good returns previously and the winner of each section was in the first 10 Open, would fanciers adopt this race point again, as long as it measured in distance similar to Rennes?

Looks like the SNFC canny win!! They have races inland that many fanciers enjoy, including myself tho not very successful, and they create revenue. They also have channel races for the distance fancier. The only debate seems to be wot direction we fly. The swing to east from the belgian border race points is the way at the moment but if you want to change that put a point in at the AGM and state yer case. Simples.

i like every type of racing. fed racing is fine but there is more of a challenge when its a national. the members who criticise the inland nationals are usually the ones who dont score from them. i also enjoy long distance racing but there are more and more fanciers who dont like the long wait and that is why they prefer inland nationals.

Enjoy like others the inland nationals but something has to change as they are having a negative effect on the birdage entries in the Channal races.

Time that £10 pay on the night was looked at as well,meant to give people a taster for Nat racing should be a limit of 1 year then full joining fee.

DAL2 I AGREE WITH YOU THAT FANCIERS WANT DIFFERENT RACES BUT WHY HAS IT TO BE A NATIONAL THEY HAVE THERE FED RACES BUT THE TRUE JIST IS THESE RACES IS BEING HELD IN EQUAL STATIS WITH FRENCH RACES ;;;;;; BUT WERE ALL BIG ENOUGH MEN TO SIT DOWN AND GET 1 B----Y RACE IN EQUAL TERMS AND THIS SHOULD BE WORKED OUT SO THAT THE GOLD CUP IS FLOWN FROM THE FAIREST RACE POINT AND IT JUST HAPPENS THAT THERE IS A WE BIT OF WATER IN ROUTE BUT WHAT IS A NATIONAL IF YOU DONT WANT TO SEND YOUR BIRDS TO THE FAIREST AND MAY BE HARDEST RACE POINT YOU WONT BE PUTTING THEM IN THE BUCKET FROM OSLO BUT ON THESE SITES PLENTY GOING IN BUCKET FROM 200 MILES BUT THE WAY THE SNFC IS GOING AT THE MOMENT DISTANCE RACING GOING DOWN THE TUBES WITH THE HELP OF A LOT OF FANCIERS NOT INTERESTED IN LONG DISTANCE RACING JMO
